What is the effect of mushrooms?

More than 2000 years ago, forest Yunzhi mushroom was known and used in China. Now, when science develops, the use of forest mushrooms is increasingly confirmed and known by many people.

How many types of forest mushrooms are there?

Ganoderma lucidum is an important medicinal mushroom, which has been studied for its beneficial effects on human health. In particular, wild mushrooms that grow in the wild have many more beneficial nutrients.

Types of forest mushrooms:

  • Red Ganoderma lucidum: This forest mushroom has a characteristic color of red, the mushroom cap is not too thick, from 0.1 to 0.3cm and has no stalk. The red forest fungus is from 1 to 8cm in size.
  • Green shiitake mushrooms: The capital is called the green forest mushroom because it has a prominent green color. Grows common in Australia and often grows on decaying woody trunks. Among forest reishi mushrooms, green reishi mushrooms are often used for decoration rather than for eating.
  • Coriolus versicolor mushroom: Coriolus versicolor is white – brown – orange in color. They grow in many parts of the world, on decaying trees and often grow in clusters like a turkey tail. For a long time, this forest mushroom has been used by Japan as a supportive therapy in cancer treatment.

These forest mushrooms are distributed in many parts of the world. However, the amount is quite small. In Vietnam, currently, only forest mushrooms can be grown, but not forest mushrooms.

The effect of forest mushrooms and notes when using

Ganoderma lucidum has very good effects on human health, specifically as follows:

  • Removes melanoma without affecting other cells

In general toxicity studies of Ganoderma lucidum, acute, subacute, chronic, subchronic, genetic, reproductive and fetal toxicity tests were all negative, that is, no side effects.

Ganoderma lucidum has a selective cytotoxic effect on cancer cells without affecting other normal cells.

  • Helps produce modified biological responses beneficial in cancer treatment

Ganoderma lucidum helps to produce interferon a and b by monocyte white blood cells. At the same time, activate the activities of anti-cancer cells, increase the synthesis of immune factors, prevent the atrophy of the chemotherapeutic drugs. Helps the body to quickly recover the damage of blood-forming cells.

  • Significantly increase the patient’s quality of life

The results of clinical trials show that, with chemotherapy and radiation therapy, can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients, especially cancer patients.

Using Ganoderma lucidum also increases resistance, protects the blood, brings strength and stabilizes the patient’s immune function. This helps to improve the quality of life.

  • Detoxify the harmful effects of chemotherapy and radiation

The current treatment of cancer patients is chemotherapy and radiation therapy. However, both of these methods have negative effects on the body. Using wild mushrooms helps to reduce adverse reactions caused by chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

  • Improving the appetite of cancer patients

About 40-50% of cancer patients experience anorexia. Clinical studies show that Ganoderma lucidum can increase appetite. Thereby, helping to supplement nutrients and increase the effectiveness of treatment for patients.

Wild mushrooms have effects on health in general and cancer patients in particular. However, forest mushrooms are quite few and not available in Vietnam, but only cultivated mushrooms. Therefore, when buying, you should be careful not to buy fake forest mushrooms. This, not only does not improve the state of health, but also “carries disaster on the body”. Ideally, you should find reliable places to sell mushrooms.
